Cebrace – ISO certification 50001 – Energy Management System

A Cebrace, Leader in the Plan Glass Sector in Brazil, took a significant step towards sustainability by implementing the ISO certification 50001 on brown: Sustainable Energy Management. This international standard focuses on efficient energy management, promoting practices that reduce consumption and improve the energy performance of companies. The consultancy was carried out by biO3 Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade, including initial diagnosis, implementation and internal audit in partnership with consultant Heitor Carvalho, ensuring that all Cebrace processes meet the rigorous standards required. This milestone reinforces Cebrace's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the glass market.

Cebrace is a pioneering company, result of a joint venture between two of the largest flat glass producing groups in the world: a Saint-Gobain (France) e a NSG (from that); and which has been part of the lives of Brazilians for 50 years old. Whether in construction, in industry, in homes and interiors, everywhere around you there's a little bit of Cebrace.

Reference in the flat glass sector in Brazil, had two units audited, the Caçapava units – SP and Barra Velha – SC. The first, opened in 1989 and the second in 2004. Recently the Barra Velha unit, also started manufacturing textured glass.
