The conference is being organized under the Program for Partnership with the Country (PCP), which was implemented by PRODUCE and UNIDO at the beginning of 2018 with the objective of accelerating inclusive and sustainable industrial development and building a partnership between actors led by the ministry.

The event will be attended by the Director General of UNIDO, Li Yong, in addition to representatives from Asian countries, Africa and Latin America, from academia and the public and private sectors.

“Industrial parks can help countries meet the challenge of inclusive and sustainable development through enhanced collaboration”, he said.

The conference will be an opportunity to present a wide range of international experiences on different aspects of industrial parks, in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and discuss the future of the industry in Latin America.
