6.2 Until 2030, achieving access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all, and end open defecation, with special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations.

6.3 Until 2030, improve water quality, reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing the release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing safe recycling and reuse globally

6.4 Until 2030, substantially increase the efficiency of water use across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and freshwater supplies to address water scarcity, and substantially reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity

6.5 Until 2030, implement integrated water resources management at all levels, including via cross-border cooperation, as appropriate

6.6 Until 2020, protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rios, aquifers and lakes

6.to until 2030, expand international cooperation and support for capacity building for developing countries in activities and programs related to water and sanitation, including water collection, the desalination, the efficiency in the use of water, effluent treatment, recycling and reuse technologies

6.b Support and strengthen the participation of local communities, to improve water and sanitation management
